Las obras de esta exposición son el resultado de una producción de cuatro años. Cada uno de los componentes de la muestra está inter-relacionado con los demás, formando múltiples suturas, que a su vez producen nuevos sentidos inéditos. Las piezas crean elipsis, espacios inéditos de pensamiento que subyacen el campo del conjunto.

Una experiencia en Cali, Colombia, conduce a Wroclaw en Polonia; de ahí a Egipto, de Egipto al Perú, de la Meseta de Marcahuasi —a las afueras de Lima—, al Valle de Tepoztlán —a las afueras de la Ciudad de México— y al bosque de piedras de Fontainebleau cerca de Paris. De Daniel Ruzo a Jacobo Grinberg-Zylberbaum; de Grinberg a Antonio Velasco Piña y al mito vivo de Regina. De Regina a la actualidad mexicana. De 1948 a 1968 y de 1492 a 2012… y a un sueño extraordinario con Barack Obama.

The works in this exhibition belong to a sequence that developed during four years. Each one of the components of the show is interrelated with the others, and each virtual splice is there to create multiple short circuits of meaning. The negative spaces between the pieces host many ellipses, fields of reflection that are subcutaneous to the broader field.
